New, ISO-certified plant in Wierden dedicated to consumer packaging
We opened a new production facility to have a dedicated plant for consumer packaging. The whole facility is certified according to ISO 9001, ISO 14000 and ISO 22000.
Offering a wide range of opportunities to many segments
The state-of-the-art equipment allows for providing the highest quality products to various dry food industry segments: confectionery, chocolate, snacks, salt, sugar, instant drinks, sports nutrition, protein products, coffee, tea, dough, baby food. In addition to these, we can serve also beauty and healthcare companies, detergent and fertilizer manufacturers and a range of others.
The new production line is able to produce 15 million cans annually, and multiple closing solutions are available: peelable or recessed membrane as well as paper, metal, cork, or plastic lids.
Synergies and leveraging expertise
Opening the consumer packaging facility right next door to our industrial packaging plant making spiral wound cores and tubes enables us to directly build on the expertise we already have and extend our capabilities while sharing all the support functions. We have another plant in the Netherlands manufacturing consumer packaging; that facility in Nijkerk can be a back-up for this new plant in Wierden.
